It can be outfitted with a variety of interconnect components to perfectly fit any existing circuitry and construction. From a functionality point of view aHCN may act as a simple communication node or it may incorporate a sophisticated application program. aHCN\'s main purpose is to be embedded in household appliances and it is for that reason more than any other that the device is offered in a standard DIN 43700 enclosure or in the form of a caseless PCB.
';

n_text[8]='Emness™ iHCN PL132M-100 is a stand-alone device performing the role of a micro service gateway. It connects an EHS network to a remote system or network (Internet) via a dial-up connection. iHCN is assigned the task to acquire data from a set of EHS devices distributed across the power mains, to process this data and to submit reports to a remote maintenance server. The device is capable of storing structured information on a number of parameters, characteristic to EHS devices. It can detect specific events and initiate a dial-up Internet connection to a maintenance server. As a rule, such server is supposed to reside on a remote location.
A real time clock/calendar is installed on-board to keep track of the time and date. The clock is powered by a local battery so it keeps operating when the whole device is disconnected from the power line. The presence of a real time clock makes possible scheduled sending of data. The data exchange with the outside world is based on a 64-bit encryption technique using a symmetrical key algorithm. Only authorized users can access the data logged in iHCN and remotely configure the device.
Combining two protocol stacks and multiple functionalities in a single device, iHCN anticipates the maintenance technologies of the future.
';
